The french team made the trip to Eurosurf 2011, with on board Roxane Bonet to represent women bodyboard. They put their bags in Bundoran, Ireland, for 10 days of competition.
The staff had a special menu for this 10 days. Training every day, no freesurf except on the spots selected for Eurosurf, community living around the team. A complicated situation for Roxane, who in his mind was a trip to Ireland with his friend Florian Piquet!
Despite this, Roxane is fixed on its goal of being European champions. On 1 October, she was in the semifinal with difficult conditions in Tullamore: onshore wind, rain, little waves. Despite his commitment and fighting spirit, she bows finishing third in his heat.
Finish the competition in 5th place is a big disappointment for Roxane who felt more than able to bring the title in France. A feeling also shared by competitors!
